Intel Plays Its Chips – DTNS 3994

Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger announced it will elevate its small foundry business to become a standalone business within Intel called Intel Foundry Services led by Randhir Thakur. Unlike previous efforts, IFS will offer SoCs with not only x86, but Arm, and RISC-V cores, and use industry standard design tools this time, making it easier to work with for third parties. How will these efforts help turn Intel’s ship around and will it be enough?
