I had the pleasure of appearing as a guest at the end of the latest episode of The Frequency with Dan Benjamin and Haddie Cooke. It’s their reboot of the show as a weekly, as I understand it. We talked a bit about how I do things at Tech News Today and it was quite fun.
A word about the title of the episode. Earlier in the show they had mentioned that Robert Scoble said he never took his Google Glasses off except to sleep. That led to Haddie wondering if that meant he never took a shower. Later in the show I mentioned during my morning routine, I shower, and cracked “unlike Scoble.” Of course they titled the show “Unlike Scoble, I take a shower.” How could they resist.
Let me go on record as saying that, despite my little wise crack, I believe Robert Scoble to be a paragon of hygiene. And there are pics to prove it.

Really enjoyed being on the Collection DX show with Adam and Josh. These guys know toys and have an amazing community over there that does thorough reviews. I talked giant robots galore, a doecast metal Apollo 13 to die for, and the TV I used to watch Force 5 on. Sort of.

Jeff Cannata of Always On and formerly Totally Rad Show has a Kickstarter wrapping up for a new venture. He’s been revealing some pretty amazing guests for his first run of episodes. So I’m pretty damned honored that he asked me to be one of them. Jeff is a great guy, a fantastic host, and I’m really looking forward to the show whether he had asked me to be on or not. After all, I am a backer as well as a future guest.
Today he updated the Kickstarter page, and when you see the pictures you will note that he added his FIRST BEARDED PERSON! I believe– well, I don’t want to say it was a token pick, but let’s face it, his guest list while incredible, was beard deficient.
So if you haven’t already taken a gander at it, head over to Jeff’s Kickstarter, and if you back it, he’ll update you on schedules and release dates and all that stuff as it gets decided.
I had the chance to sit down and have a lovely chat (over Skype of course) with Shayne Johnston from Aussie Tech Heads.
