    In your video clip, why is the projected image so narrow/short vertically?

    The black band that obscures half of the video image results from the shutter speed of the video camera being not quite synched with the scan rate of the pico projector. If you watched it live, you wouldn’t notice any flicker – no more than a CRT monitor.
