    Another tip – use another PDF reader!
    I have switched to Foxit Reader:
    http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php

    Starts in about 0,5 secs on my laptop. No tweaking required and it looks and works allot like Adobe Reader.

    I use that one too. Works great, although like once in 100 times I have a PDF look odd in it.
